I am proud to

Hinton is a picturesque community nestled in the
foothills of the Rocky Mountains, just east of the
famous Jasper National Park. We are a thriving,
progressive, diversified community; as West
Yellowhead’s regional service centre, we support
major economic sectors such as tourism, forestry,
coal mining, energy, general retail, and independent
business.
Council and I anticipate strong growth over the
coming years and, with the much-valued input from
the voices of our community, are devoted to making
Hinton a great place to live, visit, and do
business, while offering high quality health care,
education, retirement, and recreation opportunities.
